• Superficial burns
• Sun burn
• Burnt urine
• Eczema
• Small cuts and abrasions
• Insect bites
• Protects healthy skin around skin lesions (such as warts) that are treated with topical irritants such as podophyllotoxin.
• Reduce the risk of skin irritation around the anus when the patient is taking laxatives because of bowel preparation before bowel surgery or colonoscopy.

Gently clean and dry the skin of the affected area and then apply a thin layer of ointment on it several times a day. Avoid contact of the ointment with the eyes and around it.

Zinc oxide has astringent, soothing and protective properties. It also reflects ultraviolet rays and therefore can be used as a physical sunscreen. In addition, it protects the skin against irritants or moisture by creating a barrier.

• Severe allergic reactions due to the use of this drug rarely occur. However, if you notice symptoms of an allergic reaction such as skin rash, itching and swelling (especially of the face, tongue and throat), tell your doctor immediately. During pregnancy or lactation, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.

Store zinc oxide ointment at room temperature (less than 30 ° C). Do not expose the product to direct sunlight due to the adverse effects of heat.
