Brimonidine 0.33% Topical Gel
30 g
Indications
This product is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of persistent facial erythema (redness) associated with rosacea in adults aged 18 years and older.

Brimonidine Tartrate 500 mg, equivalent to Brimonidine 330 mg.
Effective ingredients
Each 100 g contains:
Brimonidine Tartrate 500 mg, equivalent to Brimonidine 330 mg.
Therapeutic effects
Brimonidine reduces rosacea-associated facial erythema through its local vasoconstrictive effect on the superficial blood vessels of the skin.
Method of Use
This product is a topical gel and is usually applied once daily.
Apply a thin, even layer to the affected areas of the face, typically the forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks.
Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not apply to damaged skin.
Wash hands after application.
Pharmacology and effect mechanism
Brimonidine acts on alpha-2 adrenergic receptors located in the walls of small blood vessels in the skin, causing vasoconstriction. This vasoconstriction reduces superficial cutaneous blood flow and consequently decreases facial erythema associated with vasodilation in rosacea.
