A potent moisturizing and emollient cream for relieving severe dryness and reducing roughness and scaling. Suitable for use on rough and hyperkeratotic areas of the body, such as the heels, soles, elbows, and knees.

The product helps relieve severe dryness and itching, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), strengthens the skin barrier, and reduces thick scaling and roughness.

Apply to clean, dry skin once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician. Massage gently until fully absorbed.

Urea is a naturally occurring component of the skin and an essential constituent of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF). It possesses hygroscopic properties, enabling it to attract and retain water within the stratum corneum. At a concentration of 10%, urea also exhibits keratolytic activity by disrupting the intercellular bonds between corneocytes, thereby promoting the loosening and shedding of dead skin cells. This action helps soften and smooth rough, dry, and hyperkeratotic skin. In addition, urea has antipruritic and antimicrobial properties.

The other ingredients in this formulation support skin hydration and barrier function through complementary mechanisms:

• Hyaluronic Acid: A powerful humectant that attracts and retains large amounts of water, helping to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and smoothness.
• L-Arginine and Glycine: Amino acids that contribute to skin hydration, support the skin barrier, and promote collagen synthesis.
• Panthenol (Provitamin B5): Helps strengthen the skin barrier, improves skin softness, and reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by increasing moisture retention in the stratum corneum.
• Vitamin E: A potent lipid-soluble antioxidant that helps protect the skin from oxidative stress and environmental aggressors, including UV-induced free radicals.

• For external use only. Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes.
• Do not use if you are allergic to urea or any other ingredient in this product.
• Do not apply to irritated skin, open wounds, or infected lesions.
• If redness, itching, or persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician if necessary.
• A mild burning or stinging sensation may occur upon initial application and is usually temporary. If it persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a physician.
